We hope this message finds you well during these challenging times.
As the government shutdown continues, we understand the strain it places on families who rely on federal jobs or services. Our family is on VA, so we know firsthand how tough these situations can be. Fortunately, we weren’t impacted this time around, and that’s exactly why we want to step up and help those who are.
That’s why we’re reaching out with a heartfelt offer: each week, our family will provide a free, home-cooked dinner for one family directly affected by the shutdown. If your family has been directly affected and could use a warm meal and some support, we’d love to hear from you.
This opportunity is available to families within about 20 miles of Republic, WA.
Email us directly at [email protected] with a brief note about your situation, and we will select one family per week, as that is what we have the capacity to do.
Much of what we eat is homegrown or home-made, so if you don’t mind that, we don’t mind sharing a meal.
